The videos in the first section are drawn from the video podcast I began that was titled Critical Thinking About Science, but which only had a small number of episodes completed. 

Still, it's the perfect introduction to the content in this course. I think science literacy is very important for overall critical thinking, but I have a particular view of what constitutes science literacy. These videos introduce this conception of science literacy and outline a curriculum that I believe would be effective in teaching it.
